Buy or Sell If These WWE Storylines Are Headed in the Right Direction
With Money in the Bank around the corner, WWE's top storylines have either picked up steam or left us wanting more.
WrestleMania 41 wasn't exactly the hit most of us expected, but there was still plenty to look forward to. The bright spots have remained intriguing, but some of the company's misses have become even more glaring.
It's hard to tell how much of that is the usual lull period after The Showcase of Immortals or a genuine point of concern. Nevertheless, the show must go on, and there are still some gems such as Naomi's heel turn or the rise of a new dominant stable.

New Day's Goodbyes to WWE 🥹

Fatu Ready to Upset Reigns, More Raw Fallout 👀
WWE will undoubtedly ramp up its hottest angles heading into the second half of the year. These are the stories we're buying into and the ones we're not as sold on so far.
The Last Remnants of The Bloodline
The Story
After the two versions of The Bloodline faced off last year, Roman Reigns struck the final blow when he regained the ula fala during the debut episode of Raw on Netflix.
Without his claim to power, Solo Sikoa drifted into obscurity as Jacob Fatu rose to prominence.
The Samoan Werewolf seemingly resented Sikoa for failing to defeat Reigns and his decision to slink away afterward. While he was away, Fatu grew into his own man and eventually defeated LA Knight to become United States champion at WrestleMania 41.
Tensions emerged when the former heir to Reigns' throne implied he should fall in line and follow him again, and the addition of JC Mateo has exacerbated this.
Reaction
Sikoa works best as a comedic would-be leader who doesn't realize he's in over his head. His clueless behavior makes Fatu look effortlessly cool in comparison, and it's only a matter of time before he strikes out on his own.
Buy or Sell?
Buy. Ever since his debut, it has been abundantly clear Fatu has an x-factor, and WWE has given him every opportunity to stand out. This storyline is a vehicle to propel him further and capitalize on his growing popularity.
The 33-year-old is the next big star of Samoan descent. He’s dynamic and charismatic, and the end goal should be to put him in the best position to succeed.
Seth Rollins' Vision
The Story
Seth Rollins aligned with Paul Heyman to win the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night 1. In the following weeks, he recruited Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed and set his sights on championship gold.
During the latest edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, Reed returned and took out CM Punk. Now, The Visionary looks to become a two-time men's Money in the Bank winner and gain the power to secure a world title shot whenever he wants.
Reaction
Rollins is arguably the most popular he has been in nearly ten years, and his character work has been tremendous. His recent heel turn works so well as a culmination of everything he has been working towards since he became the Monday Night Messiah in 2019.
Even more, it’s such a brilliant way to build off his history with Reigns and pay off his rivalry with Punk. The Visionary has always thought he was the only one who could lead the company into the future, and now he has the means to execute his vision.
Buy or Sell?
Buy. There are so many possibilities for Rollins and his new stable for the rest of the year. We have to assume he will regain the World Heavyweight Championship and lead his team against a collective of his enemies at Survivor Series: WarGames.
Regardless, we're along for the ride for whatever 2025 has in store for the 39-year-old and his disciples.
John Cena's Farewell Tour
The Story
John Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber on March 1, siding with The Rock to kick off his feud with Cody Rhodes.
One month later, the star of Peacemaker cheated to win and become a record-setting 17-time world champion on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
With only 23 appearances left, Cena plans to ruin wrestling for everyone, including the fans who never truly appreciated him.
However, The American Nightmare returned during the May 24 episode of Saturday Night's Main Event to end this charade and restore the status quo.
Reaction
Although the initial heel turn will go down as one of the most shocking moments in WWE history, the execution ever since has been lackluster. Cena's motives are just and nuanced, but his delivery is often robotic or flat-out cartoonish.
The 48-year-old and Rhodes delivered one of the worst WrestleMania main events in recent memory, and his recent output hasn't been much better.
Still, The Last Real Champion has shown glimpses of his old self that will likely factor into the end of his farewell tour.
Buy or Sell?
Sell. So far, this turn has been disappointing, and it's starting to seem like the polarizing star will snap out of it in time to get one last standing ovation from the WWE faithful. In fact, it's safe to assume he will go out with a surreal "Thank You Cena" chant, proving the fans did respect his contributions to pro wrestling.
It's predictable, but that's not a bad outcome because he deserves it. Nevertheless, the first half of his final year with WWE has been a real mixed bag, and the direction could use some work.
