WWE WrestleMania 41 Predictions for Likely Swerves on Sunday's Updated Match Card

Find out with these predictions.

John Cena Gets Some Help in the Main Event
2 of 4
For the final time in his career, John Cena will compete on the WrestleMania stage Sunday night, challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
He is also a heel, embracing the dark side in his final run with the company after selling his soul to The Rock. It would not be at all surprising to see The Final Boss make an appearance at some point in Sunday's marquee bout but it is the other help Cena could receive that will be swerve-worthy.
Paul Heyman betrayed CM Punk and Roman Reigns in the main event of Saturday's show and aligned himself with Seth Rollins. In the weeks leading into that match, Rollins repeatedly insisted on doing what was best for business, ala Cena before Elimination Chamber, when he made his epic heel turn.
Rollins and Heyman will make their presence felt in the main event, with The Visionary doing the exact opposite of last year's show by costing Rhodes the championship and revealing an alliance with Cena and The Rock, furthering that overarching story.
No Surprise Return for Randy Orton's Mystery Opponent
3 of 4
No matter what happens Sunday night, Randy Orton appears poised to have a big role on the Backlash card, which will emanate from his hometown of St. Louis. With that being said, he is not losing at WrestleMania so the idea that WWE would bring back Rusev or Aleister Black to be his mystery opponent and have them eat an RKO on their first night back is ludicrous.
The swerve is that there will not be one.
An established heel who does not already have a spot on the show, someone such as Karrion Kross, Solo Sikoa, or Ludwig Kaiser, will present as Orton's opponent. They will have a solid-to-very-good match and The Viper will earn his first WrestleMania victory in three years with an RKO.
Easy peasy. The special returns will wait until Raw and SmackDown, where they have their greatest effect.
Bianca Belair's Heel Turn
4 of 4
For the last month or so, The EST has exhibited a new attitude. Despite denouncing Naomi for the attack that sent Jade Cargill through a windshield, she had carried herself differently, expressed herself with a different edge, and has consistently absolved herself of any blame in any situation she finds herself in.
Exactly as a heel would.
Sunday night, she and Rhea Ripley challenge Iyo Sky in a Triple Threat Match for the Women's World Championship and much like Rollins the night before, the swerve will see Belair make an official heel turn that sees her cheat her way to victory, thus keeping her unbeaten streak at WrestleMania alive.
From there, she engaged in a rivalry with Ripley over the title while potentially setting herself up to reveal that she did, in fact, have a role in Cargill's attack, thus giving her two potential opponents to feud with through the majority of 2025.
