WWE WrestleMania 41 Predictions for Saturday Night's Updated Match Card
The top stars in professional wrestling will collide on the grandest stage of them all when WWE brings WrestleMania 41 to Allegiant Stadium Saturday night for the first of two nights of action.
Championships are at stake, personal vendettas will be settled, and Jey Uso will attempt to pay off a long, arduous journey to a singles world title when he challenges Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Will Uso strike gold and who else will emerge from the night's seven scheduled match-ups?
Find out with these updated predictions.
World Tag Team Championship Match: War Raiders vs. The New Day
1 of 7
The War Raiders defeated The Judgment Day's Finn Bálor and Dominik Mysterio for the World Tag Team Championship on the December 16 episode of Raw and since them, have retained the gold against the former champions, as well as The Creed Brothers.
The New Day underwent a drastic character overhaul, betraying Big E and turning heel to the dismay of fans who now greet Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods with boos in every arena they set foot in.
Erik and Ivar probably have plenty left to prove as champions but New Day is a hotter act and can be the detestable heels that the babyfaces chase before eventually winning the gold back. That makes for more interesting television than a dominant babyface act that carries the gold with no credible opponents to take its from them.
Prediction: New Day wins the titles
Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
2 of 7
Naomi shoved Jade Cargill off a platform and through the windshield of a car last November, putting the women's tag team champion on the sidelines. From there, she replaced Cargill, joining Bianca Belair in a championship duo.
The Storm's return and subsequent attack on Naomi exposed the latter as her assailant and sparked a rivalry that is among the most intense in the company.
Naomi has been extraordinary since embracing her heel side and in a perfect world, would find a way to escape with a win and continue building that character for herself.
This is about Cargill's revenge, though, which should be swift and emphatic. The match will likely be one of the most emotionally fueled of the entire weekend but the former tag team champion and victim of Naomi's jealous assault will pick up the victory.
Prediction: Cargill wins
United States Championship Match: LA Knight vs. Jacob Fatu
3 of 7
LA Knight is one of the most perpetually over babyfaces in WWE. He is a megastar who could be slotted into the main event tomorrow and be accepted in that role by fans who appreciate his natural charisma and ability to deliver Blunt Force Trauma at any time to secure a win.
What he is not, however, is Jacob Fatu.
The Samoan Werewolf may be the most physically impressive professional wrestler in WWE; a heavyweight who moves like a cruiserweight, but with the fury of an unabashed brawler. He has earned the respect of fans since arriving in WWE last summer and is ready to capture his first gold and begin his ascent up the ranks in pro wrestling's most prominent promotion.
Prediction: Fatu strikes gold in his first WrestleMania appearance
Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano
4 of 7
Rey Mysterio and Chad Gable have been feuding for months, with the latter disrespsecting lucha libre by returning from Mexico wearing a mask and calling himself El Grande Americano.
The anger over his rival's misuse and disrespect of his people's tradition resulted in Mysterio requesting a match with El Grande Americano, with the opportunity to beat him and expose Gable as the fraud that he is.
A potential injury suffered by the 2023 Hall of Famer may have adversely affected his quest for revenge.
Even before there were questions about Mysterio's health, his recent success against American Made seemed to suggest that Americano was poised for a big WrestleMania victory.
There is no reason to believe that has changed, with the heel character getting a big win and setting up a higher-stakes rematch as soon as Backlash.
That is, as long as Mysterio can compete Saturday night.
Prediction: Americano wins
WWE Women's Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair
5 of 7
In a perfect world, Tiffany Stratton would defeat Charlotte Flair Saturday night in Las Vegas and use that win over a star of that magnitude, on a stage that grand, to legitimize herself as a worthy champion.
The world is not perfect, though. It is a world in which The Queen exists and reigns over the women's division in the biggest moments, in the most prestigious matches, and when the lights are brightest.
She has been on this stage before, capturing 14 championships throughout her career, and does not typically lose matches of this significance. That her last appearance on the grand stage was a loss, to Rhea Ripley, makes this contest feel even more must-win.
That it is all part of her massive comeback that began with the Royal Rumble victory has this feeling like a given.
Prediction: Flair wins No. 15
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Jey Uso vs. Gunther
6 of 7
Jey Uso must defeat Gunther.
If the 2025 Royal Rumble winner rolls into Las Vegas and loses the world title match to The Ring General, he loses credibility with fans and proves everything Gunther claimed about him to be true.
He is a sideshow. A mascot. A joke.
He is not good enough.
Uso has already dropped three consecutive match-ups against Gunther and absolutely must reverse course, with the opportunity to etch his name in the history books and forever prove his worth as a main event star.
He will, besting Gunther and winning the world title that has eluded him to this point in his career.
Prediction: Jey Uso wins his first world title
Triple Threat Match: CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns
7 of 7
The most unpredictable match on this year's card is the main event of Saturday's card. CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins bring their multi-layered storyline to a head in the marquee match of night one, with the specter of "The Wise Man" Paul Heyman hovering overhead.
While Heyman has remained steadfast in his promise to remain loyal to Punk and Reigns, but disloyal to neither, there is something about the build to the match that opened up the opportunity for the Godfather of Extreme to align himself with Rollins.
After all, Punk and Reigns treated Heyman like the prize at the end of a tug-o-war. They fought over him while Rollins was fighting for a bigger cause: what is best for the business.
That is a cause Heyman can certainly appreciate. Add to that Heyman's clear line to The Rock and you have the potential for there to be a massive revelation in the overarching storyline involving The Final Boss.
Punk winning in his first WrestleMania since 2013 and his first main event would be great. Reigns is a candidate to pick up the victory at any time. Still, Rollins has been the hottest of the three, with the clearest motivation and the potential to be the best character coming out of this year's show.
Strike while the iron is hot, WWE.
Prediction: Rollins wins
