Predictions for The Rock, Seth Rollins, Full WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 Match Card
For as much uncertainty as there still is surrounding the super-card in Las Vegas, the rocky Road to WrestleMania 41 will become much clearer after Elimination Chamber this Saturday, March 1.
The men's and women's Elimination Chamber matches will determine Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes and Women's World champion Rhea Ripley's respective challengers at the event and ideally spark other WrestleMania rivalries with the rest of the combatants.
Rhodes will also be appearing to respond to The Rock's lucrative offer from SmackDown where The Final Boss vowed to make him “his champion” if he agreed to an alliance.
The unsanctioned affair between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens is bound to be brutal and reignite their rivalry in a major way. With no rules or restrictions, nothing will hold either of them back from unleashing their full vengeance on the other.
Elsewhere on the card, Toronto's own Trish Stratus will return to the ring to team with WWE Women's champion Tiffany Stratton to take on common enemies Nia Jax and Candice LeRae while Stratton's WrestleMania opponent Charlotte Flair scouts from the sidelines.
Ahead of the unpredictable premium live event, let's look at the entire advertised card and attempt to predict who will reign supreme as the Road to WrestleMania kicks into high gear.
Women's World Championship No. 1 Contender's Elimination Chamber Match
1 of 52025 women's Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair announced her intentions to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 41, leaving Women's World champion Rhea Ripley's role at the event unknown.
This star-studded Elimination Chamber match featuring Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Bayley, Naomi, Roxanne Perez and Alexa Bliss will confirm who The Eradicator will have her hands full with on The Grandest Stage of Them All, and of everyone involved, Belair should be considered the odds-on favorite.
Naomi should ultimately be revealed as the one who attacked Jade Cargill. Although Belair should logically be involved in that angle as well en route to WrestleMania, Ripley doesn't have any other notable names to face with her title defense against Iyo Sky being relegated to the Raw after Elimination Chamber instead.
Ripley vs. Bliss isn't WrestleMania-worthy while the Morgan vs. Ripley rivalry already culminated. Additionally, Perez and Bayley are bound to be busy with their own program.
Belair will emerge victorious inside Satan's Structure and punch her ticket to 'Mania, though it's entirely possible it turns into a Triple Threat with Sky depending on the finish of the upcoming championship clash on Raw.
Prediction: Bianca Belair wins.
Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus vs. Nia Jax and Candice LeRae
2 of 5Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax going one-on-one for the WWE Women's Championship at Elimination Chamber appeared to be the endgame for their long-standing storyline, but WWE opted to do the match early on SmackDown in order to set up this tag team match and get Stratus back in the ring in her hometown of Toronto.
Prior to her return at the Royal Rumble, Stratus hadn't wrestled on WWE TV since finishing her feud with Becky Lynch in an excellent Steel Cage match at Payback 2023. What her future holds beyond Saturday's show is currently up in the air, but a win alongside Stratton would make the most sense, especially if the idea is to cement Stratton as a babyface for her feud with Charlotte Flair.
From an in-ring standpoint, this should be a fairly average outing, but the crowd being behind Stratton and Stratus throughout should make it an entertaining attraction. Jax is the perfect foil for the dynamic duo while LeRae can easily absorb the pinfall loss for their team.
Interference from Flair can't be counted out completely, but it would be unnecessary. She and Stratton will have the chance to progress their program coming out of the event.
Prediction: Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus win.
Unsanctioned Match: Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens
3 of 5The bad blood that runs deep between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens has been well documented over the years, and at Elimination Chamber, they'll have the opportunity to take their heated rivalry to the next level in an Unsanctioned match.
Zayn's reunion with The Bloodline coupled with his refusal to help Owens cheat to beat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble was enough to send Owens over the edge and betray his best friend yet again. Everything they've done in the buildup to the bout has made their made their feud feel more personal than ever before.
The lack of rules almost encourages interference, whether it be from Owens' former tag team partner Randy Orton or Zayn's recent adversary Karrion Kross. However, a decisive ending is needed to put the exclamation point on their program for now so both men can embark in different directions for WrestleMania 41.
More importantly, Owens is in desperate need a win on a premium live event. He's fresh off three straight losses to Rhodes and needs to be able to bounce back before battling Orton at The Show of Shows.
Prediction: Kevin Owens wins.
Will Cody Rhodes Accept The Rock's Offer?
4 of 5The Rock's return on the Feb. 21 edition of SmackDown significantly shook up the Road to WrestleMania, specifically in regards to the Undisputed WWE Championship picture.
In a segment much longer and more convoluted than it needed to be, the TKO executive asked Rhodes if he wanted to be “his champion” and gave him until Elimination Chamber to answer. Agreeing to the alliance would essentially turn Rhodes heel in time for whatever match he has at WrestleMania 41.
The prospect of Rhodes going rogue and becoming a corporate champ is undoubtedly intriguing, but it's far too early in his main-event run for WWE to be flipping the switch with him. He's the most marketable and beloved babyface in the company and has merely scratched the surface of what he can do in the role.
Of course, declining The Final Boss' proposition will have serious repercussions for Rhodes, but not on Saturday night in Toronto. Rather, expect Rock to eventually enlist another Superstar in his quest to take the title from The American Nightmare, most likely at WrestleMania itself.
Prediction: Cody Rhodes will decline The Rock's offer.
Undisputed WWE Championship No. 1 Contender's Elimination Chamber Match
5 of 5If Cody Rhodes refuses The Rock's offer, all signs point to the winner of the men's Elimination Chamber match doing so instead, or at least playing a pivotal role in the story WWE intends to tell leading up to WrestleMania 41.
Logan Paul previously challenged Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship and failed, so his involvement should solely set up whatever he'll be doing at WrestleMania. Damian Priest has been teased as a potential opponent for Rhodes but isn't as compelling as other options.
Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins are two dark horses that have history with Rhodes, but John Cena and CM Punk are much stronger candidates. Punk recently told Rhodes he'd stab him in the front as opposed to in the back if the opportunity ever presented itself, making him the best overall choice for Rock's handpicked face of the franchise despite Punk's established anti-authority attitude.
Cena's chase for his record-setting seventeenth world title win should last for a majority of his farewell tour, but WWE may not want to pass up Rhodes vs. Cena as the biggest bout that can be booked for the main-event of 'Mania. Not only are Punk and Rhodes capable of producing much more appealing promos together, Cena vs. Rhodes would be a rather flat feud if neither of them are joining forces with Rock.
Cena vs. Rhodes is the wrong call at this point yet almost certainly the marquee match WWE will run with.
Prediction: John Cena wins.
