Baltimore Ravens Mock Draft: B/R Community Top 100 and 7-Round Results
NFL draft week is here, and we here at Bleacher Report conducted a community mock draft to prepare for the big event.
In this mock draft, we gathered featured columnists who cover all 32 teams, and everyone took turns making selections for their respective team. We did this for the first 100 picks of this draft and then projected the rest of our respective mock drafts on our own.
Here's how it turned out for the Baltimore Ravens.

| 32 | Patriots | Melvin Gordon | RB | Wisconsin |
Pick No. 26: Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State
The Ravens get arguably not only the best player available but one who fills their biggest position of need.
Jaelen Strong might not be the best receiver in this draft, but in Baltimore's offense, he could make as big of an impact in 2015 as any rookie receiver.
There's a good chance he'll be the No. 1 receiver with Torrey Smith signing with San Francisco this offseason. That leaves the 35-year old Steve Smith Sr. as the only starting-caliber receiver on the roster.
Over his past two collegiate seasons, the 6'3", 215-pound Strong caught 157 balls for 2,287 yards and 17 touchdowns. He's arguably the most complete receiver in this draft and could become the favorite target of Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco this year.
At worst, Strong will be the No. 2 wideout as a rookie, but he should still become a focal point in Baltimore's offense.

| 62 | Packers | P.J. Williams | CB | Florida State |
| 63 | Seahawks | Carl Davis | DL | Iowa |
| 64 | Patriots | Tre' Jackson | OG | Florida State |
Pick No. 58 Clive Walford, TE, Miami
Once again, the best player on the board also fills a critical area of need, as Miami's Clive Walford is Baltimore's second-round pick.
The 6'4", 251-pound tight end would likely play significant snaps as a rookie and may even claim the starting spot if Dennis Pitta retires.
This past season, Walford grabbed a team-high 44 catches for 676 yards and seven touchdowns. Even if Pitta plays this year, Walford is too good of a run-blocker and pass-catcher to keep off the field.

| 99 | Bengals | Steven Nelson | CB | Oregon State |
| *100 | Titans | Nick O'Leary | TE | Florida State |
*First pick of Round 4
Pick No. 90: Derron Smith, S, Fresno State
The Ravens secondary was horrendous at times in 2014, so adding a defensive back is a must at some point in this draft.
Fresno State's Derron Smith is quietly one of the better safety prospects in this draft, and he also has experience at both safety spots and slot cornerback.
Smith was a full-time starter for the past three seasons while notching 187 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and 14 interceptions. Smith had 13 picks from 2012 to 2013 while playing free safety but had just one in 2014 after moving to strong safety.
He even played some slot cornerback, another spot where Baltimore needs more depth. NFL.com's Lance Zierlein rates Smith as a "second- or third-round pick" while comparing him to Chargers safety Marcus Gilchrist.
It's not easy to find guys in Round 3 who can contribute as rookies, but Smith would likely be one of them.
Round 4
4 of 6
Pick No. 122: Kevin White, CB, TCU
The Ravens have to add a corner in this draft, and at this point, Kevin White is the best one on the board.
This past season, the 5'10", 174-pound White led the Horned Frogs with 11 pass breakups and 13 passes defended while recording 51 total tackles and two interceptions.
He played like a corner who should be drafted much higher than this, but his slender frame may keep him from being durable in the NFL.
A year or two in the NFL weight room should allow White to bulk up enough to withstand the wear and tear of a 16-game season. He could eventually develop into starting-caliber corner.
Pick No. 136: Darius Philon, DT, Arkansas
After trading Haloti Ngata this offseason and cutting Terrence Cody, Baltimore needs to add some depth along the defensive line.
That's where Arkansas' Darius Philon comes into play. He played both nose and defensive tackle in college and would likely play DT in Baltimore's 3-4 defense.
Philon does a good job of maintaining his gap while also providing a decent pass rush from the interior. He may even develop into a 3-4 defensive end to eventually replace the aging Chris Canty.
Pick No. 158: Markus Golden, OLB, Missouri
The Ravens need to add some youth at outside linebacker behind Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil.
They also need to replace Pernell McPhee after he signed with the Chicago Bears this offseason. Missouri's Markus Golden was one of the best pass-rushers in the SEC this past season, and he would likely be the best outside linebacker on the board at this point in the draft.
Golden recorded 33 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in his final two seasons at Missouri. He was a good pass-rusher who was overshadowed by fellow pass-rusher Shane Ray, who should hear his name called in the first round this year.
Golden would be a great pickup to develop behind Suggs and Dumervil and possibly replace one of them in the coming years.
Round 5
5 of 6
Pick No. 171: Vince Mayle, WR, Washington State
With Baltimore being dangerously thin at receiver, expect the team to select two receivers in this year's draft.
After the Ravens selected Jaelen Strong in the first round, Washington State's Vince Mayle would be a solid pickup in the fifth round. Mayle was a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist (awarded to the nation's top wide receiver) after catching a school-record 106 passes to go with a school single-season-record 1,483 receiving yards.
Mayle should be able to contribute as a rookie for a Ravens team that needs capable receivers.
Pick No. 176: Josh Robinson, RB, Mississippi State
The Ravens need to add another running back after cutting Bernard Pierce this offseason, which leaves the unproven Lorenzo Taliaferro as the primary backup behind Justin Forsett.
Josh Robinson may be small (5'8", 217 lbs), but he is as explosive as any back you'll find in this draft class. His small stature actually makes him more elusive and able to squeak out of tackles.
This past season, Robinson rushed for 1,203 rushing yards, the third-most of any SEC player. He also scored 12 times and caught 28 passes for 370 yards.
Robinson would be a great change-of-pace back behind Forsett who would make Baltimore's already-formidable ground game even better.
Round 6
6 of 6
Pick No. 204: Darrian Miller, OT, Kentucky
The Ravens cap off their draft by taking the best offensive tackle on the board.
They need to add some depth behind Eugene Monroe and Ricky Wagner, and Kentucky's Darrian Miller is the best tackle left in the draft.
The 6'5", 307-pound Miller was a full-time starter in the SEC for the past three seasons. He's a decent pass-blocker who went up against some of the best pass-rushers in the nation on a regular basis and held his own.
Miller needs some work as a run-blocker, and a year or two in an NFL weight room could help him develop into a quality backup Baltimore could rely on if he had to start a few games at either tackle spot.
That's something the Ravens didn't have last year when Wagner and Monroe were injured and James Hurst started in their place.
According to Pro Football Focus, Hurst had a cumulative minus-39.9 grade last year in just seven starts (four at left tackle, three at right tackle). That horrific grade shows why adding a guy like Miller in the later rounds should be a goal in this draft.
