WWE Hell in a Cell 2014: Most Likely Heel and Face Turns at Event
When fans tune into a WWE pay-per-view broadcast, they expect to see things that they would not typically be exposed to on free television shows like Raw or SmackDown.
Sometimes those things come in the form of longer matches or specialty matches. At other times, they present themselves in the form of face and heel turns that renew interest in certain characters or performers.
Unlike recent pay-per-view productions, Sunday night's Hell in a Cell has the potential for several turns that will create buzz around some of the elite stars in World Wrestling Entertainment. Which heroes will live long enough to see themselves become the villain, and which baddies will undergo a switch that sees them become the idol to millions of fans worldwide?

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Fans will find out definitively when WWE presents its annual October spectacular on the WWE Network. Until then, enjoy this look at prospective turns that would shake the wrestling world.

Face Turn: Randy Orton
The Viper fell victim to a Curb Stomp from fellow Authority teammate Seth Rollins that should signal a face turn for the third-generation star. Such a change would put his latest, extremely underwhelming heel run behind him.
Orton is a guy who can still be a strong draw for WWE, but he has been booked so poorly as of late that it is impossible to consider him a threat to anyone.
Turning would get the fans back on his side. At the very least, this could inject his act with some adrenaline and hopefully spark renewed interest in him by WWE Creative. From there, he can resume serving as one of WWE's marquee stars. Otherwise, he is doomed to remain in the unenviable position he currently finds himself in: a major star overshadowed by brighter young stars dominating the sports-entertainment landscape.

Heel Turn: Mark Henry
The World's Strongest Man has teased a heel turn numerous times over the last month, frustration over his repeated losses to Rusev mounting and nearly overwhelming him. His friend, The Big Show, was able to talk him out of a turn shortly after Night of Champions, but a recent string of losses to Bo Dallas has renewed that frustration and anger, and this could see the former world heavyweight champion snap come Sunday evening's Hell in a Cell broadcast.
The likelihood is even greater if Henry is forced to sit back and watch Big Show do what he could not by slaying the otherwise unstoppable monster known as Rusev.
Big Show asked Henry not to get involved in the match, which seems a lot like foreshadowing. Expect Henry to not only get involved but to betray his friend and ensure that the Bulgarian Brute's streak of not being pinned continues for another night.

Face Turn: Damien Mizdow
This is one instance where a face turn would be bittersweet. Damien Sandow has been absolutely extraordinary as The Miz's so-called stunt double, single-handedly making Miz matches more tolerable thanks to his antics outside the squared circle. The way he mimics Miz's signature offense at ringside, not to mention the over-the-top nature of the character as a whole, has really captured the attention of fans and made Sandow somewhat of a cult favorite among the WWE Universe.
For him to stand up to The Miz and tell the former WWE champion off would effectively end that character. At the same time, it would return Sandow to relevance and reignite a singles push that never should have died out the way it did last fall.
A loss for Miz to Sheamus, followed by the shifting of blame to Sandow, would be the emphasis the former Intellectual Savior of the Unwashed Masses needs to execute such a turn.
