John Cena vs. Randy Orton HIAC Winner to Receive Title Match vs. Brock Lesnar
When decade-long rivals John Cena and Randy Orton step into the Hell in a Cell at Sunday's pay-per-view of the same name, one will emerge as the No. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Triple H revealed the stipulation on the Oct. 20 edition of Raw, which WrestlingINC.com illustrated on Twitter, with a humorous quip about Lesnar's recent absence for good measure:

As if Cena and Orton's pure dislike for one another after more than a decade of a very personal, violent feud was not enough, now the two have a chance at reclaiming the top prize in the company.
Cena has been thrust back into the spotlight in recent months as the only man who could upend Lesnar, but he was brutally beaten twice and has since occupied his time chasing after Seth Rollins while simultaneously fending off Dean Ambrose.
Obviously, Cena would love a third chance to get in the ring with Lesnar and take back the strap.
Orton, though, is an interesting wrinkle in the title situation. Labeled the "face of the WWE," he has mostly been out of the picture after dropping the belt months ago. As Wrestle Zone's Mike Killam notes, Orton's infusion into the title scene might be just what WWE needs at the moment:
"Does anybody else want to see Randy Orton get his shot against Brock Lesnar? Something different. #RAW
— Mike Killam (@MikeKillam) October 21, 2014"
In fact, Orton's rise to the title scene makes a little too much sense when one remembers he calls St. Louis home—the Scottrade Center hosts the Survivor Series pay-per-view this year on Nov. 23.
Lesnar is the unbeatable force in the WWE at the moment after taking down The Undertaker's streak and dismantling Cena repeatedly. His status as a part-time Superstar and titleholder makes each appearance and title bout more important than usual, so it makes sense WWE has picked two veterans as possible opponents for the next time Lesnar suits up and puts his strap on the line.
Fans may grow tired of the Cena-Orton feud, but its historical importance, paired with a shot at Lesnar swinging in the balance, means their showdown at Hell in a Cell is a marquee match on the card alongside Rollins vs. Ambrose.
The Beast Incarnate awaits the winner.
