Geno Smith, Eric Decker, Jeremy Kerley's Post-Week 7 Fantasy Outlook
In a week when not much was expected of the New York Jets' fantasy players, some of their stars showed up against the New England Patriots in a close 27-25 loss.
For Geno Smith and his top receivers, it was a tough outing.
Eric Decker and Jeremy Kerley put up underwhelming numbers in the contest. Decker was a considerable piece of the offense but didn't post huge points. Meanwhile, Kerley was held in check throughout the night.

Smith led the team well offensively but was quiet throughout the night for fantasy owners. His low passing total was helped by the rushing yards , but the lack of touchdowns through the passing game continued for the Jets.
The leading receiver for the Jets was Decker, but his limited total still left fantasy owners wanting much more. Then again, he was also covered by Darrelle Revis and played well, as NFL Network notes:
Decker remains a risky fantasy play any week he's healthy. Even after the numbers he put up against Revis, he is still far from the same fantasy player he was with the Denver Broncos last season. Decker is still the receiver to own, but only as a low-end WR2 or flex option.
Meanwhile, Kerley is still clearly not a player worth adding at this point. His performance against the Chicago Bears (81 yards and a touchdown) has been all but forgotten after Thursday night.
Next up for the Jets are three games against the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers. Buffalo is a good matchup for all three players, but the Chiefs and Steelers both rank inside the top 10 in passing yards allowed per game.
Simply put, the Jets' passing game remains anemic even with the rushing game looking much improved with Chris Ivory.
