Zlatan Ibrahimovic Admits Admiration for FC Barcelona?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AC Milan striker) admits that he left "the best team (FC Barcelona) in the world" when he signed with AC Milan. Ibrahimovic made his declarations (in an interview with UEFA.com) when AC Milan is due to face FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League Group H Tournament this Wednesday.

Ibrahimovic said further that he did the right thing in leaving FC Barcelona for the sake of everyone involved. Ibrahimovic promised that the match between AC Milan and FC Barcelona is going to a great one.

The UEFA Champions League Group H Tournament is supposed to decide who will be in first place in the group. The declarations by Ibrahimovic stirs up not so recent memories when he made comments about Guardiola in his autobiography.

In the beginning of November, Ibrahimovic (in his autobiography) wrote negative comments about Guardiola and his period with Barca. Ibrahimovic wrote about Guardiola having an unhealthy obsession with Mourinho.

Ibrahimovic went as far as to write that Guardiola "thinks he invented world football" during an interview with Swedish TV. The comment on Swedish TV was published in Univision (the US Latin television conglomerate).

Ibrahimovic attempts to be conciliatory in the few days before the UEFA Champions League match. The response to the latest statements of Ibrahimovic is disbelief.
