World Football: Guus Hiddink to Sign with Anzhi Makhachkala?

Guus Hiddink was interviewed by RT (a global television station based in Russia) concerning his future in world football. Hiddink did not rule out Anzhi Makhachkala in the future and considered it a project with prestige.

Hiddink was forced to resign as coach of the Turkish National World Football team after it failed to reach the Championships of Europe. Hiddink is currently resting before deciding his future.

Hiddink also ruled out any move to Chelsea FC in the future. Hiddink made his comments about Chelsea FC while recognizing his friendship with Roman Abramovich (Chelsea FC owner).

Anzhi Makhachkala has been in the news during the year 2011 signing personalities such as Roberto Carlos and Samuel Eto'o. Anzhi Makhachkala has been linked with Fabio Capello (English National World Football Team) and Luis Felipe Scolari (Brazil).

Hiddink is not the only person mentioned as possibly going to Anzhi Makhachkala. Didier Drogba (Chelsea FC) has been linked with Anzhi Makhachkala starting January 2012.

The news about Drogba was reported in The Daily Mail and published in RT. According to The Daily Mail and RT,  Drogba wants to extend his contract with Chelsea for two more years.

Chelsea FC wanted to renew for one year which has lead Anzhi to consider signing Drogba. It remains to be seen what will transpire.
