Real Madrid News: Cristiano Ronaldo Goes Overboard with Arrogant Comments
Cristiano Ronaldo is off to a blazing start this year. The 26-year old Portuguese superstar has scored five goals in five games this season, including four in La Liga.
His quest to help Madrid knock Barcelona off the top of the Spanish table is well under way. If he keeps up this type of play, they will have a very good chance to do just that.
However, his goal-scoring brilliance isn't the only thing making headlines.

Ronaldo is well known for being a complainer, diver and pansy when it comes to physical play on the pitch. His antics have enraged fans before and will do so again.
The brilliant playmaker decided that wasn't enough, though. He was booed in a UEFA Champions League match against Dinamo Zagreb yesterday and offered this explanation:
"It is because I am handsome, rich and a great player, because I am envied. I have no other explanation.
"
He also went on to complain about the referee's treatment of him, saying:
"I hope we never have this referee again. People talk of fair play, of protecting good players, but I never get any of that. I don't understand a thing. I'm sad because I hear referees saying they will protect skilful players, but while some are untouchable it seems I can be mauled.
"
This, like his dives and complaints when on the pitch, is ridiculous.
Ronaldo gets his way more often than not and is simply crying for the sake of hearing his own voice.
People don't like him because he's a cocky, arrogant jerk.
He could look like Ronaldinho or Alexi Lalas (in his prime playing days) and people would still hate him.
Ronaldo has more important things to worry about than crying about referees and fans. Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho should tell his star player to shut his mouth.
We know that won't happen, though, and it is a shame. Ronaldo is a gifted player, but he continues to do himself no favors with his behavior and attitude.
