Cristiano Ronaldo Says People Are Envious of Him for Being Rich and Great

Cristiano Ronaldo has declared that people whistle at him for being "handsome, rich, and great". Ronaldo went further and said that "people are envious" of him.

Ronaldo made his declarations after Real Madrid defeated Dinamo of Zagreb 1 to 0 in their UEFA Champions League match in Croatia. The news segment was published in the Spanish News Agency EFE and Univision.

I had to read the article various times to be sure that Ronaldo actually said these words. I also looked for a second opinion which confirmed it and talked with people in the streets.

The majority of the people in Miami, Florida were commenting about the superiority complex of Ronaldo. They concluded that Leo Messi of FC Barcelona is better than Ronaldo for being down to earth.

Ronaldo is just a human being and an athlete who is making history in Real Madrid for the right as well as the wrong reasons. Ronaldo should be aware that Real Madrid and football/soccer existed before him and will after he is long gone.

But what will happen to Ronaldo when his football/soccer career is over? What will Ronaldo do when the cameras no longer shine on him?

My advice for Ronaldo (although he couldn't care less) is to return to reality before it knocks him from his high pedestal.
