Leo Messi Praises Pep Guardiola in FC Barcelona Role

In an interview with FOX Sports (and published in Goal.com), Leo Messi praised Pep Guardiola and his role as manager of FC Barcelona. Messi made public his sentiments for Guardiola and FC Barcelona while the team prepares for its (UEFA Champions League) match against AC Milan.

Messi said that he would never change Barca for another team. Messi also said that Guardiola has given FC Barcelona concrete results during his time as manager.

While there have been criticisms of how Guardiola handled the match between Barca and Real Sociedad, he has major accomplishments since becoming manager in 2008. Pep Guardiola has achieved two UEFA Champions League victory for Barca.

Guardiola has also been instrumental in Barca receiving three consecutive Spanish Cup victories. Barca has also received accolades for its triumphs in the UEFA Super Cup, Copa Del Rey, World Club Cup, and Spanish Super Copa.

The Guardiola period in Barca has also witnessed Messi being the recipient of Ballon D'Ors on a back-to-back basis. The victories do not mean that there isn't a lot to be done in the UEFA Champions League match against AC Milan.

I am hoping that Barca learns from its mistakes before starting its match against AC Milan.
