Wayne Rooney Against Bolton and Ranking His 7 Hat Tricks
There is not another striker in the world that is hotter than Wayne Rooney at the moment.
Three weeks ago, he scored a hat trick against Arsenal at Old Trafford in United's 8-2 victory. He followed that performance the next week on international duty, scoring a brace against Bulgaria.
Just yesterday, on September 10, 2011, he scored his second straight hat trick in the league against Bolton Wanderers. It was the second time the Reebok had seen him score a hat trick on their home ground.
In total, he has eight goals in his last four appearances and is on fire. Chelsea will have to be on the lookout next week when they travel north to Old Trafford.

5 of 7Two of the best free kicks that Rooney has scored in his career were followed by a penalty conversion.

January 23, 2010: 4-Goal Hat Trick vs. Hull City
6 of 7The only one of Rooney's three-plus goal games, in which he scored four goals.
It is also notable that none of them were from penalties either.
The first could be considered a poachers goal, but a goal nonetheless, as he blasted in a rebound.
His second was scored over the injured body of a defender
The third and fourth goals were the best, as he headed in a full-pace swinging in cross and then scored cross body in a congested top of the box.
September 28, 2004: Hat Trick vs. Fenerbache
7 of 7Rooney's most impressive hat trick of all was his first. He made his Champions League debut with a bang for Manchester United after completing his transfer from Everton.
One bent-in free-kick strike and two more blasted from beyond 18 yards makes it his current personal best of all time.
However, at his current rate of picking them up, we might have to rearrange this list all over again after next weekend.
