Arsenal Transfer Rumours: Arsene Wenger Could Move for Jadson to Boost Midfield

Sportsvibe.com cites a report from respected French publication L'Equipe, stating Arsenal have an interest in Shakhtar Donetsk midfield maestro Jadson.

The 27-year-old Brazilian schemer is seen as a smart addition to offset the losses of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

Jadson is thought to cost much less than prime target Juan Mata.  The South American playmaker gained his first international cap earlier this year and has been one of the most consistent performers for Shakhtar during the club's recent successes.

He is a busy player with excellent movement and a keen eye for a decisive pass.  Jadson has the technique and invention to fit in well at Arsenal.

Jadson is adept at linking together the midfield and forward lines and would therefore be a nice fit for the role occupied by Fabregas.

He has the trickery and quick feet to operate well from the wide areas,but his vision and clever distribution would be better utilised from a central position.

Jadson has an abundance of recent trophy-winning experience with Shakhtar and plenty of Champions League games on his resume.

He may take some time to adapt to the physical nature of the Premier League, but his style of play is perfectly compatible with Wenger's tactical vision.

Arsenal should move quickly to secure the services of a player as accomplished as Jadson and restore some confidence in their midfield heading into the new campaign.
