Premier League Transfer Rumours: Fabregas, Crouch, Aguero, Hargreaves, Bendtner
Another week begins in transferland, and the lead story is yet again that man Cesc Fabregas.
Will he? Won't he? Will it ever end?
Joining him in the gossip columns today is familiar face Sergio Aguero, along with Tottenham and England striker Peter Crouch.
There's also a welcome return for Manchester United reject Owen Hargreaves.
Finally, a mention for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, who appears to be wanted on Merseyside.
Enjoy...
Fabregas Pleading to Leave Arsenal
1 of 5Cesc Fagregas is reportedly set to meet with Arsene Wenger, in a final attempt to plead with the Arsenal manager to let him leave for Barcelona.
According to this report at the Daily Mail website, Fabregas wants the situation resolved in a face-to-face discussion, rather than go the route of Luka Modric and hand in a formal transfer request.
Barcelona are apparently ready to pay around £31 million for the 24-year-old, but Arsenal want at least £4 million more.
Sergio Aguero Set for Manchester City
2 of 5Manchester City are set to replace Carlos Tevez with his Argentina teammate Sergio Aguero.
According to The Daily Mirror, Atletico Madrid striker Aguero could be prepared to take a wag cut to make the deal happen.
When they say wage cut, they mean dropping down to a measly £160,000/week. How will he afford groceries?
Peter Crouch Set for Return to QPR
3 of 5Peter Crouch is being linked to a return to Queens Park Rangers.
According to the Daily Mail, Rangers boss Neil Warnock sees England striker Crouch as the ideal man to "spearhead" his team's attack as they arrive in the Premier League from the Championship.
Crouch, 30, could be tempted by the promise of regular first-team football.
There's also the issue of Tottenham's quest to sign Emmanuel Adebayor in the equation. They need cash to make that one happen, and if it does happen, Crouch will surely be pushed down the pecking order.
Everton Eye Loan Deal for Nicklas Bendtner
4 of 5Everton are reportedly "weighing up" a loan deal to bring Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner to Goodison Park.
According to the Daily Mail, Everton boss David Moyes made an approach in January, but the move didn't happen.
Arsenal may now be ready to let the 23-year-old go, but with their asking price likely to be around £11 million, Everton favor a loan deal.
West Brom in for Owen Hargreaves
5 of 5West Brom are apparently closing in on a deal to sign former Manchester United and England midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
According to a report at Talksport.co.uk, the Baggies are already in talks with the 30-year-old, who was released by United following a spate of injury problems.
Hargreaves is currently based in the US, but providing West Brom are sure of his fitness they seem keen to make him an offer to return to the EPL.
