Chelsea's gears are in the motion.

The summer transfer window has opened and they are getting ready to sign some of the best players in the world.

The race for Eden Hazard continues while star striker Didier Drogba has confirmed his exit.

Here are the latest transfer news for the Blues.

Daniel Sturridge

A possible exit for the forgotten Chelsea forward could be in the cards this summer.

According to footballgossip.org, Sturridge has been unhappy with the amount of playing time he has been given. He played no large part in Chelsea's victories in the FA Cup or in the Champions League.

Considering the rise of Ramires and the fact that Di Matteo will probably stay, it would not be surprising if Sturridge returned to his former club, Manchester City.

Roberto Mancini has already said he is an admirer of the English international.

Hulk

The Brazilian International did not do badly to impress suitors yesterday when he scored two goals in Brazil's 3-1 victory over Denmark.

Hulk has shown interest in joining the Blues squad over the summer. Chelsea and PSG lead the race for the Brazilian international.

But his 100 million euro release fee might drive potential suitors away.

Chelsea have spent millions and millions on their team. I don't think that Hulk is worth the money, and neither will many of the Chelsea heads.

Gregory Van Der Wiel

This might be one of the smartest signings Chelsea could make this summer.

They have been offered the opportunity to sign the Dutch defender. Chelsea must strengthen the right side of the defense, considering the contract of Jose Bosingwa has already been denied an extension.

The Ajax defender only became available this summer, even though he's been on Chelsea's radar for the past two years.

Pep Guardiola

The former Barcelona manger will not be coming to Stamford Bridge anytime soon, considering he is taking a break from world football altogether.

Nonetheless, Roman Abramovich is still keen on making one of the most successful mangers ever lead Chelsea.

Di Matteo has done a superb job, and there is no need to replace him at this time. It is not worth the trouble to change something when there is no reason to change it.

Eden Harzard

    Eden Hazard's jersey next year.

Manchester United, City and Chelsea are the leaders in the race for the Lille playmaker.

The Hazard saga has been one of the biggest storylines in this year's transfer market rumors.

Hazard has said that he wants a large role in his new team's squad. While it is still almost impossible to predict where he will land, he did reveal that he will make his decision after the international friendlies.
