Every now and then, a new video will surface of a famous soccer player doing some sort of skills video or challenge. The difference with this one is that this player is not a superstar, he is relatively unknown, and his skills are spectacular. What is even more amazing is that he is the keeper for the team, not the goalscorer.

His name is Lassi Hurskainen and he is one of the newest internet sensations. Some people think that the video is in response to the amazing trick shot video from University of Connecticut QB Johnny McEntee. Not only does he hit targets from long range, but he shows off some impressive ball skills, shoots the ball through tires and even hits the crossbar on the volley using different skills.

His classmates Jesse Tanas and Kenny Paradiso decided that it would be a good idea to make a Youtube video of the Finnish Goalkeeper. The video was uploaded February 14th and it currently has over 1.3 million views.

The star keeper remained humble and upbeat about the whole thing when asked. "I had no idea it was going to be this big. There have been other similar things online but there's never been a goalkeeper doing it. I think that is what makes it unique."

One of the most impressive plays was when he shot a ball into a basketball hoop off the ground. Some of the other highlights were hitting a crossbar from his own goal kick and striking a ball through a tire.

This goalie has some serious skills not to be overlooked. I do not know how good of a goalkeeper he is but he if he is as good with his hands as he has with his feet then he could have a future career as a pro.

The video supposedly took 6 days to film and it is already being shown on major websites around the world. This isn't the only amazing thing that the UNC Ashville keeper has done. He used to be the starting Goalkeeper for one of the best teams in the Second Division of the Finland League.

On a goalkick from 80 yards out, Lassi kicked a long ball that looked like it was going straight for the opposite keeper. It took a funny bounce and the keeper could not reach high enough to tip it away.

That video was not as big of a sensation but it is still an unbelievable goal, one that will probably not be replicated in the near future. This is one of the most impressive videos that I have ever seen and in my opinion is better than the Johnny McEntee quarterback video.

There is no doubt in my mind that the video is real and I do think that it will be one of the sports trick videos of the year. This kid truly is a young talent who will be seen for years to come. UNC Asheville has four Wins, 14 Losses and two ties this year. Four of their games have gone to overtime this year.
