
English Premier League Power Rankings: Week 14
Premier League fans were treated to 41 goals by the 20 teams in the league this week.
It was the first time this season where all twenty teams scored at least one goal, including seven from Manchester United and four from West Brom and Arsenal, and three each from bottom-dwellers Wolves and West Ham.
Dimitar Berbatov scored five goals to put United at the top of the table after Chelsea slipped up again with a draw against Newcastle.
20. Wigan (18)

Wigan find themselves back in the bottom spot in the rankings after losing 3-1 to relegation rivals West Ham.
Tom Cleverley netted an 86th minute goal as a consolation to the Latics who stay in the drop zone in 18th place.
Roberto Martinez's club start the month of December by hosting Stoke on Saturday.
19. Blackburn (11)

Rovers took a thumping from Manchester United on Saturday at Old Trafford.
A 7-1 defeat ended a roller coaster November for Rovers who beat Wigan, Newcastle and Aston Villa but also took a beating against Spurs and this weekend against United.
Plus, they were sold to the Indian company Venky's.

Everton continued their disappointing start to the season with a 4-1 loss to West Brom at home.
Tim Cahill scored in the 42nd minute to give the Toffees their only goal.
To add to their misery, the club has to visit Chelsea and Manchester City in two of their next three games.
17. West Ham (20)

Goals from Valon Behrami, Victor Obinna and Scott Parker gave the Hammers a 3-1 victory over Wigan.
Avram Grant is close to saving his job, and a win in midweek against Manchester United in the Carling Cup would most likely save his job completely.
Still last in the table, the Hammers visit Sunderland in their next EPL game on Sunday.
16. Aston Villa (14)

There were few bright spots in Villa's loss at home to Arsenal on Saturday.
The one bright spot was Ciaran Clark scoring his first two EPL goals in the second half.
Villa failed to capitalize on the momentum of Clark's two goals to spark a comeback, however.
After their Birmingham derby in the Carling Cup this week, a trip to Liverpool awaits Monday night in the EPL.
15. Fulham (16)

Clint Dempsey's 53rd-minute goal equalized the Cottagers' match with Birmingham, and that is the way it ended.
Taking their EPL-leading ninth draw on the weekend kept Mark Hughes' club a point above the relegation zone.
A trip across London to face Arsenal at the Emirates is next up on Saturday for Fulham.
14. Sunderland (7)

Sunderland gave away a late lead at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday.
Darren Bent and Danny Welbeck put the Black Cats up by one until Wolves snatched two late goals to hand Steve Bruce's club a loss.
Sunderland will look to rebound from the loss with a home match against West Ham on Sunday.
13. Wolverhampton (19)

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake capped an amazing comeback at home on Saturday against Sunderland with his 89th-minute goal.
Kevin Foley and Stephen Hunt scored the other two goals for Wolves in their 3-2 win.
Wolves will look to get their first win streak of the season going against Blackburn on Saturday.

Four goals from four different players led West Brom to a 4-1 road win over Everton.
Paul Scharner, Chris Brunt, Somen Tchoyi and an own goal from Sylvain Distin added to the score tally.
A road trip to Ipswich in the Carling Cup is up at midweek, followed by a home match with Newcastle on The Hawthorns.
11. Blackpool (12)

Blackpool were up two goals on the road at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday, and then it fell apart.
Two late goals from Bolton made the match's result 2-2.
The draw did boost the Seasiders up to 11th place in the table on nineteen points.
10. Liverpool (9)

A heartbreaking loss to Spurs was the result on Sunday for Liverpool.
A 90th-minute strike from Aaron Lennon destroyed the hopes of leaving White Hart Lane with a point.
After a Europa League road trip to Romania to face Steaua Bucuresti, the Reds can rest up until Monday when they face Aston Villa at Anfield.
9. Birmingham (10)

Sebastian Larsson scored the only goal for the Blues in their 1-1 draw with Fulham.
The Birmingham derby in the Carling Cup is up next on the schedule Wednesday, followed by a tough EPL home test as Spurs visit the 14th place club.
8. Newcastle (13)

Andy Carroll's ninth goal of the season gave the Magpies an early lead on Chelsea before they gave it back in the 45th minute.
The 1-1 draw moved Chris Hughton's club up to ninth in the EPL table.
7. Chelsea (8)

Chelsea dropped out of first place in the table for the first time this season after their 1-1 draw with Newcastle on Sunday.
Salomon Kalou's 45th-minute goal equalized for the Blues, but they could not finish the comeback.
After their Saturday match with Everton, the Blues get to face Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal in three straight games.
6. Manchester City (4)

Micah Richards' 81st goal in his return to the City lineup put the Sky Blues up a goal, but a late Stoke equalizer robbed Roberto Mancini's club from a full three points.
City can extend their fourth place lead on Bolton in their matchup at Eastlands on Saturday.
5. Stoke (6)

Matthew Etherington was the hero at the Brittania Stadium on Saturday with his 90th-minute equalizer against Manchester City.
With the draw, the Potters are now in eighth place on twenty points and are the only club in the league with a zero goal differential.
4. Bolton (3)

A late comeback at home against Blackpool gave Wanderers a 2-2 draw.
Martin Petrov in the 76th and Mark Davies in the 89th minute equalized the game to give Owen Coyle's club their twenty-third point of the season.
Bolton have a chance to take over fourth place from Manchester City if they beat the Eastlands club on the road on Saturday.
3. Arsenal (5)

The Gunners bounced back from their tough week where they lost two close games with a 4-2 win over Aston Villa.
Andrei Arshavin, Samir Nasri, Marouane Chamakh and Jack Wilshere all found the back of the net for Arsene Wenger's club.
Arsenal have four games in three competitions in the next two weeks, a stretch that ends with a trip to Old Trafford on December 13th.

Aaron Lennon's flare for the dramatic gave Spurs a big win over Liverpool at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
The winger's 90th-minute goal boosted Harry Redknapp's club into fifth place in the table.
A trip to St. Andrews Stadium is next up for the team on a three-game win streak in the Premier League.

An impressive seven goal outburst by United against Blackburn on Saturday was the performance of the week.
Dimitar Berbatov netted five goals in the rout, with Nani and Park Ji-Sung both scoring a goal each.
The win puts Sir Alex Ferguson's club into first place in the table, and they now have a Carling Cup test at West Ham and then travel to Blackpool for their next EPL game on Saturday.
