Why Spain Will Win The World Cup-A Little Thing Called "Chance Creation"

Spain are already the champions, they just don't know it yet.  In other words, the posession-style football they play has placed the coveted cup in their hands without their knowing it.

They are the European champions and they reign in South Africa due to their dominance of the ball.  Germany was fast on the counter attack- and organized, I might add.  It made no difference against a team that is so well composed.

The reality is that chance creation is the numerical name of the game.  Spain might not be as aggressive as most would like, but they do one thing very well.  They keep opponents from scoring.  They do this by limiting chances.  And they limit chances by clogging the midfield with unsurpassed talent.  The Spanish midfield is the best midfield in the history of international football.  While limiting chances for the opponent they create many for themselves.  They create many chances that they can potentially capitalize on by being composed and poised to strike.  Ask Senor Villa about being poised....

Only on the club level do you see a better midfield, and the majority of Spain's midfield play for that club (Barca).

This team will triumph in the World Cup Final.  Their composure will lead them past the offensive onslaught that will inevitabaly befall them.  And they will, finally, be crowned "campions."

I dare anyone to challenge the very basic footballing concept that chance creation, ultimately, leads to championships.

I challenge anyone to dare me to take my beloved-adopted-homeland for the final.

I challenge anyone to pick the winning goal scoarer....my money (what little I have)
