Lorik Cana a Future Arsenal Player?

Lorik Cana may be heading to Arsenal in the near future as it appears he is in talks with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Lorik Cana was in Kosova to visit his country and while he was there he was invited for an interview by the American University in Kosova. He talked about how he got to where he is now, what Kosova need to do in order to help football talents achieve their dreams, and the possibility of playing for Arsenal.

A student from the university asked “As we know you had different offers from England, I want to know is there a possibility you will play for any of the big clubs?”  Cana answered “yes there is  definitely a chance” He went on to say the he had to make a choice whether to leave after playing for two of the best clubs in France for 8 years (PSG and Marseille), he chose Sunderland because he would be able to play every match and gain experience in the first year but after the first year he will be considering to moving to one of the big clubs in England and fighting for the place in the first team in one of those clubs and that is why he had to gain experience with Sunderland to play week in week out . He said that when you play for a big club you are able to play 15-20 matches because of the amount of games the likes of Arsenal and Manchester united play but insisted that he was not happy with that as he wanted to play over 30 games.  Finally he said that maybe next season or the season after he would go to a big club and that he is in talks with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger already and he would make a choice together with his family to what is best.

As an Albanian, I am more than happy to see Lorik Cana in an Arsenal shirt, he is a no-nonsense player and that is definitely what arsenal need. The interview is in the link below but it is in Albanian
