Premier League Table: 2017 Standings, Week 27 Fixtures After Week 26 Results
Premier League champions Leicester City won only their sixth game of the season as they defeated Liverpool 3-1 at the King Power Stadium on Monday.
In their first match since the shock dismissal of former coach Claudio Ranieri, the Foxes were in a rampant mood as they turned back the clock in front of their home fans.
Jamie Vardy's brace and a world-class strike from Danny Drinkwater gave Leicester the points, with Liverpool short of their best quality.

Monday Recap
The Foxes appeared a different side to the one flirting with relegation, and they dominated the visitors with the high-paced game that won them the title last season.
Vardy was the danger man once more, running the Liverpool defensive channel with vigour as the Leicester midfield looked for the striker.
The England international broke the deadlock after 28 minutes with a goal straight out of the Ranieri copybook.

Vardy broke the offside trap to sprint towards goal, and the attacker slotted the ball away with precision, whipping the ball past goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
The strike set off scenes of jubilation amongst home fans as Jurgen Klopp looked on from his technical area, clearly unimpressed.
The Foxes doubled their lead six minutes before half-time as Drinkwater scored a blockbuster from outside of the box.
The midfielder caught the ball perfectly, giving Mignolet no chance as it flew past him like a bullet.
Squawka Football highlighted Vardy's first-half performance:

Liverpool reorganised for the second half, but Klopp's side never appeared fully confident in their own skin.
It was left to Vardy to put the game to bed on the hour mark as he rose above the Reds' centre-backs to nod home from close range.
There was time for the visitors to compose themselves and chisel a way back into the match as Coutinho calmly finished from the edge of the box, but it was too little, too late from Liverpool.

The performance was vintage from the hosts, deconstructing their opponents with aggression and pace.
If this version of Leicester remains until the end of the campaign, their Premier League survival will be assured.
For Liverpool, it's once again back to the drawing board for the Anfield club who do not have a defence worthy of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.
