Champions League 2016: Tuesday Odds, Live Stream for Quarter-Final Fixtures

Tom SunderlandApr 11, 2016

Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League fate hangs in the balance as they welcome Wolfsburg to the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday hoping to overcome a 2-0 deficit in the second leg of their quarter-final encounter.

Meanwhile, Manchester City have every chance of extending their best-ever run in the competition, and they play host to Paris Saint-Germain after drawing 2-2 in last Wednesday's first-leg meeting.

All eight teams involved can hope to book a semi-final spot, presenting ample opportunity to make a pretty penny in the process.

First Goalscorer: Karim Benzema (10-3)

After missing Saturday's 4-0 trouncing of struggling La Liga opponents Eibar, Karim Benzema will make a well-timed comeback in the crunch clash against Wolfsburg on Tuesday, according to manager Zinedine Zidane.

The Frenchman presumably held his countryman back for the Champions League tie and informed the media on Saturday that Benzema is fit and ready for the quarter-final decider, per Goal's Stefan Coerts: "Benzema is fully recovered from his injury. He is ready to play against Wolfsburg. He is part of the squad, feeling well and focused on the task ahead of us."

While a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired performance led Los Merengues to a hefty win over the weekend, Zidane's men are often only more impressive with Benzema present. Having been injured in the first leg, he's priced at 10-3 to open the scoring on Wednesday, second-favourite behind the mercurial Ronaldo.

Wolfsburg surprised many by managing to keep a clean sheet at the Volkswagen Arena in the first leg, especially as football writer Stefan Bienkowski highlighted their defence has been far from impressive:

That win on home territory was just the second time in six matches that Wolfsburg have managed to keep a clean sheet, per Betting Expert, while Real's win over Eibar sealed their third unanswered scoreline in the same span.

With Benzema back as the focal point in attack, Real can expect to operate with more of their standard fluidity up front. And with 64 goals scored in 17 home league games this season, Los Blancos will undoubtedly have chances to pull the deficit back.

Correct Score: Manchester City 2-2 Paris Saint-Germain (12-1)

Clinching a 2-2 draw in Paris last Wednesday was no small feat for Manchester City, as they showed a great deal of endeavour and a refusal to back down from a challenge—but it also showcased some woeful defending from both teams.

Home territory may be a grand advantage for Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini this time around, but the 12-1 odds placed on a second successive 2-2 draw still seem generous.

After all, with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani and Lucas Moura making their way to the Etihad Stadium, there's always the possibility that manager Laurent Blanc's PSG will open the floodgates.

That's especially the case when City captain Vincent Kompany is currently injured and Nicolas Otamendi is listed as a doubt for the clash, per WhoScored.com. That means Martin Demichelis and Eliaquim Mangala could deputise at centre-back, with the Guardian's Barney Ronay not among the latter's biggest fans, via writer Sachin Nakrani:

With so much offensive talent abound and little by way of defensive stability between the two teams, another goalfest may not be off the cards, with extra time and penalties a major possibility, too.
