Ronaldinho Waiting Until After the Rio Carnival Before Deciding on His Future

Tom WebbJan 21, 2016

In the most Ronaldinho piece of Ronaldinho news for a long time, the former Brazil star has said he will wait until after celebrating Rio's Carnival before deciding on the next step of his footballing career.

The ex-Barcelona forward has been without a team since cancelling his contract with Fluminense in September. He temporarily returned to represent the club in the Florida Cup this week, where he dismissed talk of retirement.

"There is a lot to come in 2016," he told reporters (via Goal). "I'll decide what to do next after Carnival. For now, I plan to travel the world to promote football, but now is not the time to stop. I will play for a little longer."
