Carli Lloyd Looks Awkward in Front of Cristiano Ronaldo at Ballon d'Or Ceremony

Carli Lloyd is not Cristiano Ronaldo's biggest fan.

That much she's made quite clear with her Twitter activity over the last few years, with anti-CR7 posts such as "Love when Ronaldo gets upset" and "Ronaldo doesn't even come close to the level Messi is on."

Whether the Real Madrid superstar is aware of her distaste is unknown, but it looked pretty awkward when the two met at the 2015 Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich on Monday.

It wasn't a totally unpleasant evening for Lloyd, however, as the U.S. women's national team star capped off a hugely successful year by walking away with the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year award.
