Real Madrid Star Cristiano Ronaldo Launches Global £54 Million Hotel Project
It would seem Cristiano Ronaldo is starting to think about life after football.
On top of his recent film release and numerous commercial commitments (some better than others), the Real Madrid superstar confirmed a chain of hotels across the world, per the MailOnline.
"My job is to play football, but life won't always be like this," Ronaldo said at the launch of the £54 million venture with Portugal's Pestana Hotel Group. "I have to dedicate myself to this new project, and I have the best team in the world around me."

The hotels, the first of which is set to open in summer 2016, are based in three cities relevant to his career—Funchal, Lisbon and Madrid—as well as New York, which might excite some supporters given the constant speculation over the reigning Ballon d'Or winner's next career move.

At 30, a return to Old Trafford has been mooted as a possibility for the ex-Manchester United man, but Paris Saint-Germain and Major League Soccer have also been touted as possible destinations for him when time at the Bernabeu expires
"I am young but I feel very fulfilled so this project is exciting for me," he said. "I'm thinking about my future, and my son and my family."
Quite the busy man, Ronaldo might have to take a hands-off approach to the project. Asked what his role will be, he joked: "I'll take care of the beds!"
His Real Madrid side take on Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Sunday.
