Gladbach vs. Juventus: Team News, Predicted Lineups, Live Stream, TV Info
Having seemingly begun their 2015/16 Champions League campaign in spectacular fashion, Juventus stalled in their last outing, held to 0-0 draw by Borussia Monchengladbach in Turin.
Now, just two weeks later, the same sides will meet again, with the Bianconeri travelling to Germany to take on Die Fohlen in a clash that both need to win.
For the home side, victory is essential given they currently sit at the foot of Group D, and their hopes of qualification would be all but extinguished should they fail.

After ending the Bundesliga campaign in third place last term, their domestic campaign began in poor fashion, losing their opening five matches, which prompted coach Lucien Favre to resign from his position.

Andre Schubert was appointed as an interim replacement, and Gladbach have rattled off six consecutive wins under the former FC Saint Pauli boss. He has quickly galvanised the squad but was quick deflect credit to his players following their recent 4-1 win away to Hertha Berlin.
“The team are doing a fantastic job of putting into practice on the pitch what we're doing in training,” Schubert told the official Bundesliga website after their most recent victory, and Juventus will need to be at their best if they are to gain a positive result.
The Bianconeri returned to winning ways themselves at the weekend, emerging with a 2-1 victory against cross-town rivals Torino on Saturday.
However, coach Massimiliano Allegri is aware that it was a result that they must build upon quickly, as he told Sky Italia shortly after that match came to an end.
“This represents three important points, a third consecutive victory at home and a step forward in the table,” he said (h/t Football Italia). “Now we have to focus on Tuesday and a decisive Champions League game with Borussia Monchengladbach.”
Allegri’s men are currently top of the Champions League group standings with seven points, and a victory in their next outing would all but ensure them a place in the knockout rounds once again.

Player to Watch
Paul Pogba may well be the player to focus on in this encounter, the Frenchman playing a crucial role in that win over Torino.
Having opened the scoring with a wonderful lobbed effort, it was his pass to Alex Sandro that, ultimately, led to Juan Cuadrado’s late match-winning goal.
It marked a return to form for the 22-year-old who has looked distinctly poor in recent weeks, particularly in the midweek defeat at Sassuolo.
His international coach Didier Deschamps discussed his performances with Italian newspaper TuttoSport, saying he expects to see more from Pogba.
“He’s a great player, if he does well on the pitch he can do other things. The only truth is on the pitch,” Deschamps explained (h/t Football Italia). “I know he’s not a No. 10, not a second striker, and I always leave him the freedom to go forward but a midfielder has to do defensive work. Maybe it’s not what he likes most, but it’s important for the team.”

Key Battle
If Pogba can do that, then he will become increasingly influential for Juventus, but there is, arguably, no player more central to Gladbach’s recent winning run than Raffael.
The Brazilian striker has already weighed in with five goals and six assists this term, but has yet to find the net in the Champions League. He will hope to change that on Tuesday night, while Giorgio Chiellini is likely to be the man charged with denying the 30-year-old an opportunity to do so.

The Juventus defender, 31, will be also keen to make amends for his senseless red card against Sassuolo, with his first-half dismissal, arguably, a crucial factor in that eventual defeat. An experienced campaigner, the Bianconeri will hope to see a more intelligent display from Chiellini here.
