Saturday Recap
Arsenal are now top of the Premier League, at least until Manchester United and Manchester City take to the field against each other on Sunday.
Their first half against Everton saw a late flurry of goals.
Olivier Giroud made it 1-0 to the Gunners after 36 minutes, racing onto Mesut Ozil's exquisite pass to head past Tim Howard. OptaJoe highlighted the pair's impressive form:
Within two minutes, Laurent Koscielny had doubled their lead with another header after Santi Cazorla delivered an excellent free-kick into the box. Ross Barkley pulled one back with a minute of normal time remaining in the half, his strike from outside the area taking a looping deflection off Gabriel.

Giroud and Romelu Lukaku hit the crossbar as both teams sought for another goal, but ultimately neither was able to do so, while Gareth Barry was sent off in injury time for a second bookable offence.
Meanwhile, Chelsea's season went from bad to worse after they had Nemanja Matic sent off and manager Jose Mourinho sent to the stands as the Hammers recorded a memorable win at Upton Park.
Mauro Zarate opened the scoring after 17 minutes with a powerful half-volley. Chelsea fought back and almost equalised through Kurt Zouma, but goal-line technology showed the Frenchman's header was just centimetres short of going over fully before it was cleared.
Matic made things much harder for the Blues, as he saw red before the break for picking up two needless bookings for fouls on Cheikhou Kouyate just nine minutes apart.

Mourinho was livid with referee Jonathan Moss, and his vocal protests during the break ensured he would be in the stands for the remainder of the game.
Gary Cahill was able to grab a second-half equaliser for the visitors from close range, but Andy Carroll popped up with a match-winning header with just over 10 minutes to go. Football writer Miguel Delaney ran the rule over the game:
Mourinho refused to give a post-match interview or press conference, per journalist Ian Abrahams:
An otherwise fairly forgettable match at the King Power Stadium was notable for two reasons.
First, Foxes striker Jamie Vardy scored in his seventh consecutive Premier League match, which, as Squawka Football notes, puts him in some esteemed company:
Also, Leicester City recorded their first clean sheet of the season. They have lost only once this year thanks to their incredible ability to come back from even two goals down, but their defence remains a concern.
A clean sheet will do wonders for their confidence at the back, though, and comes at an excellent time, with trips to goal-shy West Brom and Watford in their next two games.
Both the Baggies and the Hornets picked up vital wins on Saturday, however.
The former beat Norwich City thanks to a header from Salomon Rondon, while goals from Troy Deeney and Almen Abdi secured Watford's 2-0 win away at Stoke City.

Swansea heaped yet more pressure on Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood as they won 2-1 at Villa Park. Jordan Ayew broke the deadlock in the second half with a header, but Gylfi Sigurdsson's free-kick and a late winner from Jordan's brother Andre consigned the hosts to their sixth straight defeat.
Per BBC Sport's Mandeep Sanghera, the beleaguered Sherwood said:
"I'm disappointed with result. I didn't think we deserved to lose. We can't carry anyone because we're getting done.
I said to the boys every one has to play to their maximum to get anything from a game. At the moment we are short.
The boys gave everything. There's no shortage in desire but the quality is not quite there.
"
Their run of defeats looks set to continue, with Tottenham Hotspur, Man City and Everton all on the horizon.
The Villans could find themselves bottom of the table on Sunday if Sunderland win the Tyne-Wear derby, and unless they can quickly haul themselves back up the table, it seems Sherwood's days in the Villa dugout are firmly numbered.
