Wednesday Recap
Manchester City's match with Sevilla was arguably the most exciting of the night.
Sevilla took the lead through Yevhen Konoplyanka, who applied a simple finish after some excellent work on the right from Vitolo.
Squawka Football highlighted City's struggles in the Champions League:
However, the hosts were soon level through Wilfried Bony, whose rebound was deflected in by Adil Rami after Raheem Sterling had an effort saved.
The hosts pushed for a winner in the second half and were rewarded in the 91st minute when De Bruyne latched onto Yaya Toure's pass, cut inside on his left foot and rifled a low strike in off the far post.
WhoScored.com highlighted the Belgian's impressive form:
City boss Manuel Pellegrini praised his side's resolve in coming out on top and is already turning his attention to Sunday's clash with United, per the club's official Twitter feed:
Real's clash with PSG was a disappointing affair with neither team showing much in the way of fluency or rhythm in the final third.
Perhaps the most notable feature of the first half was the tidy performance from Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, per football journalist Dermot Corrigan:
Squawka Football shared his impressive stats:
The second half similarly failed to live up to the billing, with clear-cut chances proving few and far between.
A draw seemed to suit both sides as they remain on seven points apiece atop Group A, and both should comfortably progress to the knockout stages—though the return match at the Bernabeu could prove crucial to determining who tops the group.
Juventus dominated their German opponents throughout their match, but the Bianconeri's profligacy in front of goal—just two of their 22 shots were on target—cost them a victory.

The point is enough to keep them on top of Group D though, which is still wide open after the Sky Blues' win.
A drab first half in the Russian capital saw CSKA Moscow enter the tunnel 1-0 up as Seydou Doumbia stuck in a rebound from a saved Roman Eremenko penalty.
United toiled away and offered little going forward, but the visitors found an equaliser through their only sustained period of pressure when Anthony Martial headed home an excellent cross from Antonio Valencia.
Football writer Liam Canning believes the Red Devils are now in a strong position in Group B:
Atletico Madrid were typically dominant in their win over minnows Astana.

Los Rojiblancos led 2-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Saul and Jackson Martinez. In the second half, Oliver Torres added a third shortly after the hour-mark before a late own goal from Denys Dedechko rounded out the scoring.
Nicolas Gaitan opened the scoring for Benfica inside two minutes, but replies from Selcuk Inan and Lukas Podolski gave Galatasaray the lead at the break.
Elsewhere, Markus Rosenberg's first-half goal sealed a surprise win for Malmo over Shakhtar Donetsk.
Bas Dost and Max Kruse gave Wolfsburg a comfortable 2-0 win over PSV Eindhoven to top Group B and put the Bundesliga side in with a strong chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.
The German outfit are two points clear of United and CSKA and will fear neither based on their match on Wednesday. Expect them to take a commanding lead in the group when they face PSV again in their next outing.
