Benitez Confirmed as New Real Madrid Manager

The Bernabeu club announced the appointment of Benitez in an official statement:
Benitez arrived in Madrid on June 1 to sign a contract, earning him around €4 million a season, according to P.P. San Martin and Alvaro de la Rosa of AS.
"I am ready, I can't wait to be there and am looking forward to the challenge," Benitez said as he left Naples for the Spanish capital, per San Martin of AS.
Benitez's appointment arrived less than a week after the official Napoli Twitter feed confirmed his departure from the Serie A club, translated via Nicholas Rigg.
