Daily Fantasy Premier League 2015: Best EPL Lineup Picks Week 29

Steven CookMar 12, 2015

The Premier League is back like it never left for Week 29, and a jam-packed slate of matches means a number of exciting matchup plays in the world of Daily Fantasy.

With only 10 matchdays remaining on the season, time is fleeting for clubs to make late pushes to reach the top four, avoid relegation or hoist the title. The weekend's matches are split between Saturday and Sunday for DraftKings, so let's go ahead and pick a lineup for Saturday's action.

Forwards: Olivier Giroud ($9,400) and Dame N'Doye ($6,400)

Surging Arsenal are second in the Premier League form guide with five wins in their last six, and striker Olivier Giroud is one of many sound Gunners options for Week 29. With goals in each of his last three league appearances, he will be busy in front of net against a West Ham team currently 18th in the form guide.

Dame N'Doye has enjoyed a ridiculous goals rate since joining Hull City during the January transfer window, scoring goals in three of his five appearances—including 18 fantasy points the last time out against Sunderland. Visiting hapless Leicester City should give N'Doye more looks at goal.

Midfielders: David Silva ($8,700) and Sebastian Larsson ($5,400)

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - MARCH 04: David Silva of Manchester City celebrates after scoring the opening goal during the Barclays Premier League match between Manchester City and Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium on March 4, 2015 in Manchester, England. (

When you can get a midfielder who scores goals and contributes offensively like a striker, it's tough to pass up. That's what makes David Silva such a potent contributor in DFS for Manchester City, as he has three goals in his last four DraftKings appearances.

3/4: Leicester City1016
3/1: at Liverpool006
2/24: Barcelona0110
2/21: Newcastle2132

The Citizens are expected to run the score up at Burnley this weekend, which will pave the way for another busy day for the Spaniard.

Sebastian Larsson's stock is down following two poor fantasy performances, but he proved his worth prior to that with three double-digit fantasy performances in his previous seven matches. Aston Villa are bound for a letdown following a pair of emotional wins last week, and Larsson's Sunderland will deliver it.

Defenders: Aleksandar Kolarov ($4,700) and Nacho Monreal ($4,300)

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - FEBRUARY 21: Daryl Janmaat of Newcastle United tackles Aleksandar Kolarov of Manchester City during the Barclays Premier League match between Manchester City and Newcastle United at Etihad Stadium on February 21, 2015 in Manchester,

Whipping in crosses is central to any fantasy defender, and Aleksandar Kolarov certainly fits the bill. He had a whopping nine crosses last time out versus Leicester, and another matchup against relegation candidates in Burnley will have Kolarov on the attack plenty.

Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal is coming off a goal in the FA Cup against Manchester United. No goals and one assist in league play, however, make him a cheap DFS pick. His increased attacking success is taken into account, but also the likelihood that Arsenal will log a clean sheet against struggling West Ham.

Goalkeeper: Allan McGregor ($4,100)

Hull City goalkeeper Allan McGregor isn't one of the hotter names and struggles to find clean sheets, but his save rate and a favorable matchup in Week 29 make him a solid affordable option.

Saturday's opponent in Leicester have only scored multiple goals once in the last six matches, and McGregor has only given up one goal in his last three games each.
