Solo commented on the decision on her Facebook page:

Solo, the goalkeeper for the U.S. women's national soccer team, was facing two counts of fourth-degree domestic violence assault and could have been sentenced up to six months in jail if found guilty after the June altercation. Solo's attorney claimed during the hearing that Solo wouldn't receive a fair trial based on her accusers, as Daniels noted:

Despite the charges levied against her, Solo has continued to appear for both Seattle Reign and the U.S. women's national team. She wasn't present at Tuesday's hearing due to a USWNT camp, but her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, was.

The decision by the USWNT to allow Solo to continue to appear for the team was a controversial one. Former goalkeeper Jillian Loyden wrote a column for USA Today in October pleading with the organization to bench Solo, to no avail.

With this incident now behind her, Solo and the USWNT will continue to train for June's FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.
