Internet Has Way Too Much Fun with Cristiano Ronaldo's Awkward Yell

For a man who usually has nerves of steel on the pitch, the always-in-the-spotlight Cristiano Ronaldo let the moment get to him after winning his third Ballon d'Or on Monday.

He let out an awkward yelp while on the podium that had the Internet buzzing afterward.

Guillem Balague explained Ronaldo's "si!" afterward.

Ronaldo himself clarified the moment and confirmed that it is his war cry he does with Madrid team-mates, but also that, yes, he was nervous.

"The scream? The players know I always do that shout when I score a goal or when we win—it's our shout, from Real Madrid," he told Spanish television station Cuatro (h/t Goal). "I wasn't relaxed, I was very nervous. 

"It was the same last year only I did not cry. You can't always cry! I was relying on winning after the year I had."

But with all of that said, the war cry was still a spectacle from a viewer's standpoint.
