When Gareth Bale joined Real Madrid last summer from Tottenham, many wondered how he would co-exist with fellow superstar Cristiano Ronaldo

Would there be enough of the football to go around for both of them?

More than a year has gone by, and the marriage has worked out quite spectacularly for the two wingers.

Per the MirrorRonaldo is feeling the love for Bale:

It is great to have him with us and bringing his quality to Real Madrid.

I am very glad to play with him; he understands me, I understand him and he produces fantastic passes—I love him.

I thought Gareth played amazing. He looked strong, he looked fast and was a very important player for us. I was really pleased with his performance—but I am not surprised.

He had a fantastic season last year and showed his quality week-by-week so his development is no surprise.

This comes in the aftermath of Real Madrid's 2-0 UEFA Super Cup win over Sevilla, where Ronaldo scored the opener thanks to a perfect cross from Bale.
