Is it now the curse of David Moyes?

Long before Liverpool were unceremoniously seen off 2-0 by Chelsea and had their title aspirations thrown in flux, Paddy Power erected a satirical statue of David outside of Anfield in homage to the Scot's unsuccessful tenure at Manchester United.

United will likely finish outside of any of the European places in the Premier League, and Moyes was recently sacked by the club as they lingered in seventh place.

The statue simply read: "David Moyes: For services to Liverpool Football Club."
