Barcelona's quest for 100 points continued on Sunday night as they brushed aside Espanyol in the Catalan derby.

Alexis Sanchez gave the visitors the lead at Cornella-El Prat in the first half. The Chilean collected a return pass from David Villa before twisting and finishing beautifully.

If Espanyol rarely looked like getting back into the game, they looked all but beaten when they were reduced to 10 men in the second period; Mubarak Wakaso sent off for two cautions.

Substitute Pedro Rodriguez, who scored twice when the two sides met in January, then ensured the three points would go to Barca.

He collected Xavi's pass to finish well past Cristian Alvarez and keep alive La Blaugrana's hopes of hitting a century of points.
