Yet another star has been linked with a transfer to Tottenham this summer.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has apparently been impressed with what he's seen of Tim Krul, the goalkeeper for Newcastle and the Netherlands, and he is expected to make a bid for the keeper in the summer.
Krul has had a fantastic season thus far, and he is one of the main reasons why his Newcastle club, which was not highly touted before the season, is currently sitting sixth in the table.
The future of the goalkeeper position is very uncertain for Tottenham at the moment, as first-choice keeper Brad Friedel and second-choice keeper Carlo Cudicini are 40 and 38 years old, respectively.
At just 23 years of age, Krul is a fantastic prospect who would be very valuable to Spurs.
In February alone, Spurs have already been linked with three other young superstars for summer transfers.
Bruno Uvini, the 20-year-old defender from Sao Paulo and Brazil (who captained Brazil to the U-20 World Cup title this past summer) has already moved to Spurs on a loan that may become a permanent move in the summer.
However, with Redknapp tipped to leave Spurs for the managerial job at England, Spurs may not be able to attract such stars with the position in limbo.
With the potential to be incredible or disastrous, this will certainly be an interesting summer at the Lane.
