I take it a step further in this slideshow by looking at this season and subsequent years for the Miami Heat. Here is a brief look at how LeBron James and co. would fare the next three seasons.
2011-12

LeBron James gets a third MVP award and Miami rolls through the first two rounds of the playoffs, landing a meeting with the Boston Celtics for the Eastern Conference Championship.
The Heat enter the series as favorites but are shocked in Game 1 on their home floor. The teams go back and forth during the series until the Heat prevail in a hard fought Game 7.
The Heat meet the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals, giving the fans a Durant, LeBron face-off.
James and Durant go back and forth, but ultimately Wade takes the team on his back for a Heat title in six.
2012-13
2 of 3The Heatles return to defend their title.
The team has another superb season and garners the No. 1 seed in the playoffs. Miami beats the Chicago Bulls in six games to advance to the NBA Finals again.
This time they meet a new-look Lakers featuring Dwight Howard. The combination Of Kobe and Dwight are a little too much for the defending champs and the Lakers win in seven.
2013-14
3 of 3The Heat's dominance in the 2014 season begins to curtail slightly but still doesn't stop them from getting another top spot in the playoffs. After a hard fought couple of rounds in the Eastern Conference, the Heat make it back to the NBA Finals for revenge on the Los Angeles Lakers.
This time the Heat get the best of the Lakers led by the newly acquired free agent, Kevin Garnett. He provides inside help and defense on the Lakers big men, while D-Wade and King James lead the Heat to another title.
