NFL Power Rankings: Buffalo Bills and 3 Top Teams on Upset Alert in Week 5
There are a handful of teams in the NFL that have absolutely no fear of losing in Week 5.
For the record, these would be the teams that are lucky enough to have bye weeks. Everyone else can't afford to take a win for granted.
Even the best teams from the league are going to be in danger of being saddled with a loss. In particular, there are three top teams that I think are going to be on upset alert in Week 5.

Buffalo Bills (No. 9)
I have to say, I didn't see the Bills losing to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4. That one came out of left field.
If the Bills happen to lose in Week 5, it's safe to say that plenty of people are going to notice. They will be hosting the Philadelphia Eagles, which essentially means that ESPN and the rest of the civilized world will be watching.
Given the way the Eagles are going this season, one almost feels safe chalking this up as an automatic win for the Bills. The Eagles have been that bad.
Alas, I don't think it's going to be that easy. None of us want to admit it, but there is a good team somewhere in the Philadelphia area, and it has to show up at some point.
If it shows up in Buffalo, the Bills are doomed.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 8)
It wasn't pretty, but the Bucs managed to move to 3-1 with a win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night.
Now they have to travel across the country to take on the 3-1 San Francisco 49ers on short rest. Tough deal.
The good news for the Bucs is that they do have the goods to beat the 49ers. It's just not going to be easy, especially when you consider how the 49ers share the Bucs' tendency to win close, hard-fought games. The slightest bit of bad luck could derail the Bucs and make them leave town with a 3-2 record.
New England Patriots (No. 4)
A week after they looked nothing like the Patriots in Week 3, the Patriots looked very much like the Patriots in Week 4, beating the Oakland Raiders 31-19.
Now the Pats get to go home to take on the New York Jets, who have suffered two very bad losses in a row. Given the way they've played, you just get the sense that a loss may bury the Jets for good.
That's what should scare the Patriots. The Jets may be down now, but they are still going to give the Pats a run for their money. After all, we all remember what happened the last time the Jets visited Foxboro, and they won there early in the 2010 regular season as well.
By the way, the Jets have the second-best pass defense in the league. Tom Brady could be in for a rough one.
