Barry Bonds Bows Down, Congratulates Stephen Curry After Game 2 Win

One Bay Area legend was quite impressed with another following the Golden State Warriors' 121-116 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 2 of their second-round playoff series Tuesday at Oracle Arena.

As NBC Sports Bay Area shared, former San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds greeted Stephen Curry with a bow and embrace after the sharpshooter poured in 28 points while hitting five of 10 three-pointers off the bench in the win:

It was Curry's first game back since March 23, as he dealt with a Grade 2 MCL sprain that kept him out of the final 10 games of the regular season and Golden State's first-round series victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

He wasted little time finding his stroke and gave the Warriors a boost in his 27 minutes. The two-time MVP figures to see additional playing time as the playoffs progress and he establishes his legs again following the time off, but his performance was a reminder to the rest of the league just how dangerous the defending champions are when fully healthy.
