Brock Osweiler Trade Rumors: Browns Reportedly Shopping Recently Acquired QB
The Cleveland Browns are reportedly shopping quarterback Brock Osweiler after acquiring him from the Houston Texans on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
In the deal, Cleveland picked up Osweiler, the Texans' second-round pick in 2018 and their 2017 sixth-round pick. Houston acquired a 2017 fourth-round pick and benefited from dumping Osweiler's salary.
Following Thursday's trade, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the Browns received calls expressing interest in Osweiler.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Texans signed Osweiler to a four-year, $72 million contract last offseason, and he is set to make $16 million in 2017, per Spotrac.
According to Rapoport, the Browns are set to release quarterback Robert Griffin III on Friday and intend to give Cody Kessler a chance to be their starter.
Cleveland also holds the No. 1 and No. 12 overall selections in the 2017 NFL draft, which means North Carolina's Mitchell Trubisky and Clemson's Deshaun Watson are options.
The 26-year-old Osweiler struggled in his only season with the Texans, going 8-6 in 14 regular-season starts with 2,957 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
He lost his starting job to Tom Savage but regained it when Savage got injured. Osweiler led Houston to a Wild Card Game win over the Oakland Raiders before being eliminated by the New England Patriots in the divisional round.
