Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will meet in a rematch of the 2014 UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, as the two rivals go head-to-head once again at the iconic San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy.

Los Blancos completed a spectacular comeback to win La Decima two years ago, but Atletico have held the upper hand in the derbies since then and will be anxious to get revenge.

Here's everything you need to know about Saturday's final:

Form Guide

Real Madrid: Unbeaten in all competitions in their last 10 matches.

Atletico Madrid: Lost two of last three.

Real's recent form has undoubtedly been better than that of their rivals, who followed up a 2-1 loss at Bayern Munich in the Champions League with a shock defeat at the hands of Levante, ending their Spanish title bid.

Los Rojiblancos had won seven straight leading up to the back-to-back defeat, including impressive wins over Barcelona and Bayern, but the loss against Levante in particular highlighted some minor issues with the squad.

In contrast, Real kept their title bid alive until the final matchday with an impressive unbeaten streak, winning nine out of 10 matches since the loss against Wolfsburg.

The Guardian's Sachin Nakrani shared this comparison between former manager Rafa Benitez and current boss Zinedine Zidane, and the differences are staggering:

Zidane has managed one match against Atletico so far, losing 1-0 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in February. Real have beaten Atletico just once in their last six tries, a 1-0 triumph in last year's Champions League.

According to Sergio Ramos, the squad has improved tremendously since then, however, as Zidane has found a way to unite the dressing room, per Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Goal's Matthew Scott):

"

We have a great relationship with Zizou. I have a relationship that has grown since I played with him but everyone knows him as the second Carlo Ancelotti.

The great relationship he had with the team turned into a friendship and made things easier. That was missing with Benitez.

[...] Maybe he was more timid as a player, but he understood that had to change as a coach. He has changed for the better. Now he speaks with individual players, along with the group, every day.

"

But while Zidane rightly deserves praise for the positive influence he has had on the squad, there are few who doubt the coaching advantage lies with Atletico. Simeone is more experienced and more battle-tested, and the work he has done to lead his team to two finals in three years has been phenomenal.

Atletico don't have the resources or depth teams like Real do, and they lost several key starters after the lost final of 2014, including star striker Diego Costa and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Yet two years later, Los Rojiblancos are back, led by a new star forward in Antoine Griezmann and another fantastic stopper in Jan Oblak.

Via BT Sport Football, Simeone's team will also play in a venue he knows very well from his time in Italy, which should be another advantage:

Real's advantage in form shouldn't come into play too much, as neither team has played a match in two weeks and derbies tend to be as unpredictable as they come.

Los Blancos are the more experienced side in Europe, however, and should start the match as the slight favourites.
