Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed gifted Lionel Messi an Aggies jersey after Argentina's 2-0 win over Honduras on Saturday.
The exhibition was a chance for the Argentina national team to sharpen up ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The fans at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, were denied the opportunity to see Messi play, though, as he was an unused substitute. Coach Lionel Scaloni is taking care to manage the star's minor hamstring injury.
