WWE's The Rock, Adam Sandler Among Celebrities Reportedly Not Attending UFC White House Freedom 250
The UFC's Freedom 250 show at the White House has been positioned as one of the promotion's biggest events of the year. That may not be evident by the guest list.
Vanity Fair's Aidan McLaughlin reported WWE Hall of Famer Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and actors Adam Sandler, Jared Leto and Mario Lopez don't plan on attending.
Sean Gregory of Time reported in May the four had all received personal invites from UFC president Dana White. NFL legend Tom Brady, actor Jason Statham and director Guy Ritchie were all invited as well.
According to McLaughlin, their representatives declined to comment on whether they'd make the trip to Washington, D.C.
UFC Freedom 250 is headlined by Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje's battle to crown an undisputed lightweight champion. Topuria, who holds the belt, hasn't fought in nearly a year, and Gaethje became the interim champ when he beat Paddy Pimblett in January.
The co-main event will see Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane fight to determine an interim champion for the heavyweight division. Titleholder Tom Aspinall is still recovering from eye injuries he suffered in his no contest with Gane back in October 2025.
