Mike NorrisFeb 7, 2016

After their third Super Bowl win in franchise history Sunday, the Denver Broncos are preparing for the inevitable celebratory parade.

It will take place Tuesday in downtown Denver, starting on 17th Street, according to CBS Denver.

This is the third time the city has prepared for such an event, and the Denver Police Department seems to be ready to keep everyone safe:

CBS Denver provided more details on the celebration:

"

A parade will begin at noon near Union Station at 17th and Wynkoop on Tuesday. ... The parade route will continue along 17th, up 17th to Broadway, down Broadway to 13th, down 13th to the City and County Building for a huge rally. ... Before the parade, the entertainment begins at Civic Center Park at 10 a.m. Tuesday with musical performances by Funkiphino, 3OH!3, and Big Head Todd and the Monsters.

After the parade, the hour-long rally begins at 1 p.m. at Civic Center Park featuring the Broncos players and coaches, Gov. John Hickenlooper, Mayor Hancock and other guests.

Fans are encouraged to gather along the parade route and in Civic Center Park for the Broncos victory celebration.

"

The Colorado Springs Gazette tweeted a map of the route:

There's no official word on whether the city will close local schools, as Kansas City did in November when the Royals won the World Series, but it's possible.

While all championship parades are great experiences, this one will be particularly special, considering the Super Bowl win might have been quarterback Peyton Manning's final game. If so, not only will Broncos fans be able to cheer on and congratulate their team, but they'll also be able to give Manning a great send-off before he rides into the sunset as one of the greatest quarterbacks the game has ever seen.
