The Washington Redskins are reportedly considering playing one of their 2016 home games in London, according to Mike Jones and Liz Clarke of the Washington Post.
The announcement has not been finalized, but negotiations between the Redskins and other teams are ongoing, according to Jones, who also reported via Twitter.

The NFL made its overseas scheduling announcements on Nov. 16 of last year, which indicates a possible announcement soon, according to Jones.
Six teams are slated to play in London's Wembley Stadium in 2015. The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets kicked off international play this season on Sunday, Oct. 4. Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills are scheduled to play Oct. 25, and the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions will meet on Nov. 1. All games are played at Wembley Stadium.
The Redskins’ home schedule in 2016 includes the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys and an NFC South team.
Washington last went abroad in 2011, losing 23-0 to the Buffalo Bills at Rogers Centre in Toronto. However, it is one of 12 NFL teams that has never trekked to London, according to Brian Tinsman of CBS DC.
The Redskins are 2-2 and take on the undefeated Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome on Sunday.
