Lewandowski 'Not Thinking' About Bayern Exit
Tuesday, July 14
Cezary Kucharski, the player's representative, told Polish television that United would have to bid "higher than €50 million (approx. £35 million)" to have any chance of signing the player (h/t Gill Clark of Goal.com).
Kucharski suggested neither Lewandowski nor Bayern are considering the player's departure:
"There must be a signal from the club, from Munich. There is no such signal so we are not thinking about it, because even thinking about a change of club would be unfair in my opinion to the current employers. Bayern would have to think about why they would get rid of Robert Lewandowski. It seems to me that there is no reason to even think about it.
"
The agent believes Lewandowski "guarantees at least 30 goals a season (in goals and assists)" and that he is becoming a better player "every year." He suggested only a move to England or Spain could take place "with Bayern Munich's acceptance."

Lewandowski scored 23 and assisted eight across the Bundesliga and Champions League last season, per WhoScored.com.
At 26 years old he is heading toward his peak. He is powerful enough to hold off centre-backs, but he also possesses the touch and turn of pace to make himself a nuisance with the ball at his feet. Lewandowski's clinical nature is just what United need.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal decided against signing Radamel Falcao permanently after his poor loan spell with the club. Robin van Persie is on the verge of joining Fenerbahce, while Javier Hernandez is also likely to leave, per Clark.

Wayne Rooney and youngster James Wilson are the only two recognised strikers on United's pre-season tour of the United States, suggesting major spending must go ahead.
Lewandowski has been linked with the Premier League club before, per James Dickenson of the Express. However, after his title-winning campaign with Bayern, his agent suggests he remains integral to Bayern's future plans.
Boss Pep Guardiola would certainly find him difficult to replace and may refrain from selling the player in a bid to keep fans happy after letting Bastian Schweinsteiger join United.
