According to the Knicks' official Twitter account, Shumpert has been ruled out for the remainder of Friday's game against the Boston Celtics with a dislocated shoulder:
In addition to leading the Knicks with 1.2 steals per game, Shumpert also chipped in 9.5 points, 3.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game with his old team. The Cavaliers will benefit from his added length and defensive prowess on the perimeter.
