Manchester United Transfer News: Radamel Falcao Deal Done, Angel Di Maria Happy
Radamel Falcao's stay at Manchester United is set to extend further than next summer when his current loan deal expires, with terms for a permanent move from Monaco reportedly agreed.
The Colombian striker made a deadline-day loan move to Old Trafford in September in a deal worth £6 million for the season, per Jack de Menezes of The Independent.
Greg Stobart of Goal.com now reports that United and Monaco have already agreed a £44 million transfer fee, which United will pay at the season's end if they are happy with the player's form and fitness.

While the fee is a significant amount, should Falcao find his top form, United would have bagged themselves one of the world's best proven goalscorers, none of whom come cheap—see Luis Suarez's £65 million move to Barcelona.
Falcao has historically had injury troubles, missing the summer's World Cup with a knee problem, and United will likely only see the proposed deal through if he proves his fitness.
But Stobart's report suggests that if United are happy the 28-year-old can be a long-term asset for them, all that remains is for the agreement—which includes a £240,000-a-week salary—to be activated, with a United source insisting that "everything is agreed."
Falcao has yet to become a regular starting fixture at United, but he has bagged one goal and two assists in five league appearances so far this season, per WhoScored.com.
He has shown flashes of brilliance at times, and his quality is such that he will likely score plenty of goals this term, per Match of the Day's Gary Lineker:
If that does indeed turn out to be the case, United will no doubt sign him up to permanently join the Red Devils' impressive attack, which also includes marquee summer signing Angel Di Maria.

The Argentinian arrived in Manchester from Real Madrid in the summer for a club-record £59.7 million and is already showing his class with three goals and four assists in seven Premier League games, per WhoScored.com.
United's fans have unsurprisingly taken to the 26-year-old very quickly, and, apparently, the feeling is mutual, with Di Maria expressing his satisfaction after two months at the club, per the Red Devils' official website:
"The people here are amazing. I feel really comfortable, very happy and really pleased. The way that people treat you really makes you feel good in your heart. [...]
When we are coming out after training or after the games, I have had a chance to meet some of the fans and it makes me happy that they love us so much and have got so much affection for us. I am trying to do my best to pay them back when I am on the field, so that the people are happy. They are really polite, they are always saying please and always saying thank you. That is really nice and I am really happy here.
"
Di Maria and Falcao will likely get their first tastes of a Manchester derby this weekend, as United will visit the Etihad to take on Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

The pair will be instrumental to United's chances, but the whole club will be on a high after Robin van Persie's stoppage-time equaliser against Chelsea last time out.
Although the Red Devils defence has been poor this season, their attacking unit can match any in the Premier League, and if Di Maria and Falcao are on song, they could well inspire a famous win.
