B/R's Top 10 Best UEFA Champions League Kits for the 2026-27 Season

The Champions League is back! Forget the action; this week's kick-off should actually be all about kit watch.

With 36 teams, most of which have at least three kits, there's a ton of style to wade through to find the best. Fear not โ€” we've got you covered.

10. Slovan Bratislava away

Hold up โ€” an Adidas kit with Nikรฉ as the sponsor? Although it's not THE Nike, that's still pretty funny. Slovan Bratislava's kit has had all the color sucked out of it, an outlier to the rest of this list, which is full of bursts of vibrancy.

It works, though. Grayscale goes harder than it probably should in a design that turns the saturation down like a child using MS Paint for the first time. Is that reference too old for you? Scroll on.

9. RB Leipzig Away

From black and white to an explosion of colour that creates something pretty striking.ย

RB Leipzig's away shirt is officially listed as having 'Electro Blue' on it. That's not quite the first thing that stands out in this red and yellow design that looks like Belgium after downingโ€ฆwellโ€ฆan energy drink.

The color of the Red Bull logo can make or break these kits, but this reverse version slots in nicely and feels part of the design, rather than just being a sponsor plonked on top.ย ย

8. Real Betis Third

Now we're talking. Distressed blue and black lines with a neon accent. The sleeves and collar do just enough not to overpower the rest of the shirt โ€” and look at that club badge.ย

Real Betis have had so many great home shirts with the classic green and white, so this change-up is a nice addition for supporters, especially as the club's extra kits have flirted with blue over the years, but not always to great effect (Google their 2020-21 fourth shirt for a jump scare).

7. Inter Away

4 of 10

This is one of those kits that I love one second and hate the next. Is it actually a nice design? No idea, but it's got something.ย

Pinstripe to mean business, plus a monochrome badge that has the outer part etched out like one of those biscuits in Squid Game. It may be Inter's nicest away kit since that weirdly iconic snake design in 2021-22.

6. Liverpool Home

You can practically smell Ian Rush's mustache just by looking at this kit.ย

Liverpool's homage to the 1989-91 shirt brings together modern and throwback in a really slick way. Nostalgia dominates the market right now, particularly with Adidas kits. This is a great fusion that puts a 2026 spin on a classic. Can Andoni Iraola's team do the same?

5. LASK Away

There's just enough red swirl on this one. It would be too much if that intensity were included on the sleeves as well. Too little if it didn't fill the entire middle block.ย

Austrian side LASK has it all to do in the Champions League this season, such as their trip to Real Madrid in January. At least they can look really good doing it.

4. Arsenal Third

7 of 10

It's the perfect time for nostalgia at Arsenal. Rolling out the bruised banana look, a staple of the 1990s, almost feels symbolic for a club that now looks ready to lap up trophies as they did way back when.ย

A lot of supporters will feel lucky to have Adidas designing their club's kits, because it really doesn't take much for them to look great. This is a perfect example.

3. AS Roma Third

8 of 10

It's nearly impossible to write a nicest kit article without Roma being included each year. The Italian club are the kings when it comes to simple designs standing out in a market where a lot of the same templates are reused.

This year's third kit features the iconic logo, centralized and set on top of embossed foliage. There's a 75 percent chance if you go to a music festival, you will see a Roma shirt, making it the Hipster's Choice Award winner for this season.

2. Bayern Munich Third

9 of 10

Purple and orange! Those are not two colors that immediately seem to go together. Yet Bayern Munich's third kit mixes them up, adds a sprinkling of hidden club history, and strolls onto the pitch looking insane.

Adidas' design apparently includes visual nods to four moments that built the club, including Arjen Robben's goal in the 2013 Champions League final win, plus homages to Franz Beckenbauer, Oliver Kahn, and Patrik Andersson. If you can spot those, good for you.

1. FC Barcelona Away

10 of 10

Barรงa's Kobe Bryant-inspired away kit took the No. 2 spot in B/R's best kits across the entire sport this season. It's No. 1 on this Champions League list.

Not only do purple and black look great together, but it's also a unique way to celebrate the club's association with one of the NBA's greatest ever.ย

Only Barca could have this kit, and it makes sense. Throw Lamine Yamal in that shirt, and it's already a hell of an iconic combo.
